133. Daniel Fast Testimonies
Daniel Fast is officially finished today. I’ve written about my own experience multiple times before so I thought it would be good to include summaries of a few testimonies of people who have participated this year. — April is our church’s favorite month of the year because all we get to eat are sweet potatoes, potatoes, tofu, salad, and japchae (Korean dish). Jokes aside…I came to realize a lot of things I wouldn’t have, and because of the media fast,…
130. How To Really Rest

I would like to encourage everyone to participate in whatever capacity because there is huge spiritual and health benefit to this. What then is “Daniel Fast”? First of all, Daniel fast is modeled after what Old Testament Prophet Daniel did when he was forced to serve a pagan king. He “resolved” not to eat choice food…
32. Daniel Fast and New Habit
We are starting daniel fast from today. A lot more people decided to join this time compared to last year. Last week I wrote in my pastor blog that it is difficult to stop a behavior but it is much easier to replace it with a different one. If you think about it, new habits rarely get formed by stopping our old habit first. It usually happens by introducing a new pattern of behaviors, which takes over the old eventually.…
