Daniel Fast is starting this Sunday. For 21 days, those who participate in the fast will abstain from meat, grain, dairy, sugary products, coffee/alcohol and media. I recently finished reading a book called “Netflix: No rules rule.” It talks about how the company Netflix runs and its culture. Netflix made headlines by having policies that sound shocking at first, such as “no vacation policy” (not “no vacation” policy) or “no approval required policy.” It means that Netflix employees can take as many vacations as possible, and they can approve millions of dollars for the project they lead without getting their boss’s approval. 262. In-person Service Transition Plan

As of 3/1, all indoor restrictions are lifted, including physical distancing and proof of vaccination. The only restriction still left is mask-mandate. It seems that even the mask mandate might be lifted in a few weeks if things head in the right direction. Given such a significant change in the pandemic situation, a step-by-step plan would help avoid discomfort and confusion in how we behave in in-person service, as members have different levels of comfort regarding safety measures.
